Resurrection Sunday and love

Easter Sunday is what it's normally called. I recall it was one of two Sundays of the year when people would find their way to attending church. Christmas, or the Sunday closest to Christmas was the other day that churches would be packed to capacity. I would see folks I hadn't seen in a while and see all the seating in the sanctuary filled with warm bodies and families together. The singing of hymns sounded different with more voices on those Sundays, too. It was nice. It was exciting. But now days, even those two Sundays of the year have also been pushed back by work schedules,  or tiredness, or laziness, or the cost of gasoline, or no Sunday clothes to wear, or a dozen other excuses, or just plain not wanting to be in church even these two important Christian holiday which Christians gather together to celebrate the birth of our Savior in December, and in the Spring called Easter Sunday or Resurrection Sunday remembering our Savior was crucified for our sins, then three days later was resurrected the victor for mankind, and is alive interceding for us right now, having defeated the power of death and sin. Praise Jesus forever more.  He didn't have to come and die. He could have changed His mind. I am so thankful He chose to sacrifice Himself for me, for all of us. He showed His love in the most profound way that I will forever be thanking Him.  Jesus came to save us and to make all things possible for us to have the ultimate victory over Satan. Without Jesus we would have no hope at all. We would have nothing good to look forward to. We would have no friend in heaven on our side. We would not be heirs to God's kingdom. As I think about it, the best we would ever have is the temporary things we have now, then, when upon taking your last breath on Earth, from then on, it would be nothing but hell with a capital H.  But, thank God and thank Jesus, that is not my future. The future of anyone who accepts Jesus as their Savior is going to be the best future. Without a doubt. It will be more than you or I can even dream or imagine. In gloried bodies, and no time limitations, or death or sorrow, or pain, it will be absolutely out of this world wonderful!
Chose Jesus!   It's the most important decision in your entire life.
He arose, He is alive, He is in heaven, He will return, He is the Son of God. He loves you.

A warm invitation to ask Jesus into your heart, the one hope for life & heaven

I was thinking about their sandals

The message today in church brought 'sandals' to my mind.  When the Nation of Israel was lead out of Egypt and into the desert, with Moses as their leader, God took care of all their needs-He saw to it they lacked nothing-their clothing, food, water, protection, even their sandals. Can you imagine walking in the desert for years, walking and walking and never does your clothing wear out, or your feet swell, or your sandals wear out?  And with no place to shop or grow food, but instead their substance falls fresh from the sky, and their thirst was satisfied with cool water coming from rocks. And don't forget a cloud lead the Israelites by day shading them from the heat of the sun, and a pillar of fire at night provided  warmth during the cold desert nights.  Can you imagine all of that? Well, that's what God did- He saw to all the needs of the people. When Holy Father is looking after you, He looks after you very well. Matter of fact, He's still providing for His people this very day and this very second.

God is able, and God is willing, and God so desires to be thanked and acknowledged that it's He, and no one else deserving to receive praise and adoration for His unlimited and abounding love which He showers upon all people. He provides sustenance for life and living. He IS the source.

God cares for you- from your head to your toes

If God can see to sandals not wearing out for 40 years, isn't He capable to provide any of your needs? Of course He is. So ask Him and then remember to thank Him. It's a good feeling to know God cares so much. He even cares about the little things.  That's what a loving God does.  When you're pleasing Him, He can't wait to honor your obedience by seeing that you have all your needs met.   Spend some time reading the Word, and do what you hear the Lord telling you to do. Simple but  powerful and rewarding.  Just have faith and be obedient to God. Just do it. What more can I say.

Even in the desert, God is willing to meet your every need

If I'm lead into the desert, I want the Son as my guide, my pillar, my protection, my sustenance. For I know He will care for me no matter what.

Israel, remember and be ready

I don't mean to be negative by any sorts, but the time is getting nearer and nearer. I am convinced God chose Israel to show His might to the world. The small nation of Israel is situated between hostile neighbors and without any close allies. God doesn't require anything but a few in number to do His mighty works and wonders. Remember what He did through Noah? Remember what He did through Moses? Remember what He did through young David? Remember what He did through Samson? And Esther? Remember what He did through Daniel and Isaiah? And there are many more examples to show when one or two are committed to serving God Almighty, nothing is impossible, nothing at all.

To Israel, God's Word and promises stand solid

During Bible days, stones were set in place as a reminder of what God did in a certain place. He wants us to always remember that He, the God of creation, is perfectly capable and able and ready. He is true to His word, Israel. He has chosen you to be His people, to bear witness to the world and to be of the lineage of His Son, Jesus to be born a man in order to be our mediator in heaven. God, in His infinite wisdom, allowed His Son, to leave heaven, and became flesh and blood and suffer for us, so by joining by faith with Him, our sins would be wiped clean and we could reside with the Son in our glorified body, like His, in heaven. This was God's plan from the beginning, and in my humble opinion, it's one darn, perfect plan. His plan is for all to accept His perfect gift. Who would have thunk or wildly imagined God's plan was His prized, wonderful gift to us being birthed in a manger?  But that's God. Nothing is impossible for Him. When you accept His Son as your Lord and Savior, you're adopted into His family and become Jews, spiritually and heirs to His heavenly throne.  Remember, His Word will always stand, and always be true and can always be trusted.

Israel! The God of Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses is the same God that did the miracles of old. Never doubt God. Never doubt His Word. Hold fast and stand upon His Word. The world will witness His might when the time comes. God will uphold Israel. His Word says so. I stand with you in prayer and in the Mighty name of the Lord, God. Call upon Him and He will sustain and uphold all who call upon Him in spirit and in truth. Praise God,The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost!
