The source of Peace

Short and simple.

Desiring to be at peace with God ought to be the most important peace we desire, more than the peace we desire within ourselves and with our neighbors.

The only way to have peace with God, is through Jesus.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

You CAN have peace with God through Jesus. It's a peace unlike any other peace imaginable. There isn't an adequate way to describe the inner peace Jesus gives to those who accept him as their personal Lord and Savior.

Through Jesus, a person can be at peace with God. Peace means to not be in conflict against God because our sins are forgiven through Jesus' sacrificial dying on the cross at Calvary, and we can have no fear of death any longer. (spiritual death). Those who believe will enjoy eternal, spiritual life because your spirit will have been quickened (made alive) by the Holy Spirit, the same power that raised Jesus from death.

That's some special kind of peace. And a special kind of life to look forward to in God's Kingdom.

Throughout history, does it look like peace is on the horizon between people living on this planet? No, people like conflicts, so peace isn't possible.
Peace is always out of grasp because the ingredient for peace can only come about through one Way.

Jesus offers peace because He is the source of Peace.
Jesus is the source of all good and all love.

My paraphrase-You're at peace with God when you have the Son whom God has given all authority to. (John 3:34-36)

Look at these scriptures on peace.

Peace - beyond our hopes and dreams

World peace.
No more wars, weapons or warring against each other.

Conflict with other people all gone.

World peace.
Is it possible? Can all nations and all people be peaceable towards one another?
Could the need for military and armaments be obsolete?
Could focusing on getting along like 'best of neighbors' happen?
Could surveillance and intelligence be unnecessary?

World peace.
As much as I want to live in a world with no wars, no threat of wars, I know better.
All it takes is one to bring it on, and back we return to warring, hatred and killing.

People claim to want world peace.
But unless all are willing to give their all totally to the cause of world peace, it will never happen.
Warring, killing, stealing, lying, corrupting, and the likes, make for hostility, aggravation, discord, and those things are not conducive to bring about peace.

Some are going about practicing the 'opposite of peace' to usher in peace.

I repeat, those things aren't conducive to peace.
Only peace bring peace.

Some have the notion world peace will be a reality when all opposition to their certain set of rules or beliefs has been obliterated.
In other words, the world will be at peace when the world is totally dominated and inhabited by one group of people.

********

There is another kind of Peace.
Better than world peace.
Imagine a peace that's truly 'peaceful'.
Peace without force or fear.
This peace is waiting, patiently.
It's a peace that fills your heart and no Earthly words of any language can adequately describe.

This peace- is a peace so delightful that no man or woman can steal it from you. But they can have their own.
This peace is a gift that resides in your heart to whomever invites Jesus in. Just ask.
This peace means there is no longer a divider between you and your creator, the heavenly Father. A close relationship can happen when you aren't warring with God the Father. A close, loving relationship can develop.
This peace means you are looked upon by God the Father as one of his precious little ones. And God takes mighty good care of his children.
This peace means you can look forward to a super, super eternal future. A heavenly one.
This peace means you can rest and stop fighting, stop being an enemy of God. Instead call him, 'Abba, Father'.
This peace fills your heart, changing it, quickening your 'dead' spirit, and you being repositioned to rightful standing with God.
This peace brings about a connecting, close relationship with God the Father.
This peace is beyond all our hopes and dreams of world peace. God's blessings are awesomely good!
This peace is an internal peace, an individual, loving, satisfying peace with an infinitely, loving, heavenly Father.
This peace won't end and will fill our hearts over and over and over and over beyond our hopes and dreams.

Jesus IS peace AND offers peace with God.
This peace is more glorious than world peace.
Peace with God is peace, indeed.

A fool & his/her heart

The saying, 'always trust in your heart, it will never lead you wrong.'
I'm sorry, but to believe that saying will lead you wrong.
So, if you can't trust your heart, what can you trust? I'll answer that later in this posting.

Trust in someone you can totally rely upon and who loves you

You must first know what condition your heart is in, in order to even think about trusting it. Out of the Book of the Word of God, which is penned by men who were inspired of the Holy Spirit, (I Timothy 3:16) there are just a few references to the heart which bring up the condition of the heart and questioning it's validity to be trusted.

Would you trust the heart of a fool?  Proverbs 22:15 reads, 'foolishness is bound in the heart of a child.' And if this child is not corrected, he/she will grow up to be an adult with foolishness in his/her heart and will then have no room or patience to know the Truth or have any time to consider the sin in their life. This foolish person will mock the things of God and continue about their foolish ways thinking that they know what's right, but unbeknownst, their ways ultimately will lead them to death. This is from Proverbs 14:9 and 12, and Ecclesiastes 9:3, and this scripture also states evil and madness is full in the hearts of the sons of men.  This says if you're not saved, you are the son of man, meaning from Adam who sinned, so your heart is sinful, but if you give your heart to the Lord, you change spiritually and become a child of God and your sins are forgiven because they will be transferred to the Lord, and it was He who died in your place, thus paying your entire sin penalty.

Spiritual death is the second and worse death imaginable and God so desires none to choose this death. (John 3: 16) Our mortal bodies will die, but the spirit will continue in life or death and the difference is in or out of the presence of God.

But the heart which seeks after God, (Romans 10:9-10) is a heart which believes unto righteousness.

But until then, the heart and mind are enemies against God. (Romans 5:10), therefore, foolish, and, therefore if you're trusting in a foolish heart I would even go as far to say you're placing your trust in that which is foolishness and not in the will of God. Remember, idolatry has it's roots internally, in the heart.

Check this- the 7th chapter of Ecclesiastes, verse 9 tells one of the characteristics of a fool is they're angered quickly and this is because anger resides in their heart.  This chapter in Ecclesiastes it's full of wisdom concerning fools and foolishness.  (It is the author's opinion that anger resides in the heart because it is not at peace with God, and until then, that anger is set to erupt quickly at the slightest thing).

 Five things concerning a fool.

More wisdom on dealing with a fool.

What IS right and what IS wrong?  Don't be fooled or foolish or deceived. Anything under the sun can be used to lead or be used to make a person not come to the saving grace of Jesus.  Until then, if you continue to believe the lie devised by the master deceiver and father of lies, that would be foolish since that's choosing spiritual death.

A little about a fool, his/her temper  and arrogance.

The constant dilemma between your 'two' hearts.( physical vs, spiritual)

Your heart condition is up to you- be at peace or at enmity with God

Question- How do I know if I'm at peace with God?
Answer-Read this and you will know.

Question, would you more likely trust your heart if it's condition is enmity with God,
or, if it's condition is at peace with God?
Answer- at peace with God

Whom can you place your trust in all situations?
Answer- God.  Short sermon on trusting God.

Whom can you trust you heart with every time?
Answer- God.  So delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

A foolish heart would choose to miss out of such goodness.

Question- Who would you say has more intelligent and wisdom,  God or scientists?
Answer-  Scientists can be fools, too.

Bottom line-
I'd say it's the most safest and wisest things to choose to trust your heart to God, the 'always faithful' One and boot that ole foolish heart and it's foolishness out the window for good.

God made your heart the most important, critical and valuable organ in which you have. You must place extreme importance and care of your heart condition- here's why.

Prayers answered- Mahala's recovery is a miracle!

Last month I was compelled to write about a brave young lady named Malala.  She already had been for years standing firm and strong for the rights of females to be free to pursue an education.

score one for a brave soul fighting for fairness for all

She is strong alright, and blessed in more ways than one.

Last month she has was targeted to be stopped and killed, but today she is recovering with the ideal  medical attention she's been receiving, but, I think more so for all the prayers from around the world that have been sent up to heaven in her behalf.

Images of Malaha

I really believe her remarkable recovery is nothing but a miracle!  She was shot in the head, but she continues to improve and her recovery is very optimistic! And it looks she's suffered no nerve damage- that is a miracle!
Thank you, God!

Now I pray,  'Dear Lord God, thank you for having a ear to hear and answer the millions of prayers for the healing of Malala. Please continue to seep her in your protective and healing arms. Bless her and her family and all who stand with her in her mission on Earth. May you see that she remains strong of body and mind for a long time. In Jesus's name, AMEN.

Here's some recent news of just a few days ago on what's happening with her.

Prayers for brave activist, Malala Yousafzai

Malala Yousafzai, at just 14 years old, is a very brave young lady, and might be the one person to
ignite the world to support woman's rights, not only in Pakistan and other Mid-Eastern countries, but the world-over for education equality of all Muslim women in the 21st century women and not be left uneducated under the burka. Many applaud her courage and conviction. This says a lot of her father as well.

All children deserve an education

Malala even has a facebook page with the heading- '1in10 of the World's Children do not go to Primary school.'

Here is a short video of a commenter speaking of Malala's bravery and courage.

Women are people too, and have rights to better themselves to be educated and use their brains rather than being confined and subjected to being used for their bodies only. Women are capable of becoming much more and this young lady, just barely in her teens has spoken. But there are those who do not want women to use their brains and strive to become better because they want them to remain 'down' and subject to their place- being uneducated wives, mothers, and housekeepers.

Men and women alike should be given the opportunity to strive to reach their full potential and that calls for being educated, if that's their desire. Women, the world over, are strong and intelligent and deserve to be all they can be.  Malala says the Qu'an does not read it's against women getting an education.

Click here for a video interview of this education activist.

Pakistan has been plagued with assassinations of men and women who speak out for peace
Benazir Bhutto, was a mother and was serving as Prime Minister of Pakistan when she was
killed.
Another who dared to speak out in contrast to the Taliban got targeted, like Shahbaz Bhatti, a Christian.

Info on the Taliban's treatment of women and, "Who are the Taliban?, a BBC News article.

Instead of going to school and getting an education,  this is what many young girls are introduced to and permitted in their countries.  Childhood is bypassed altogether- young girls are thrust into being wives to older men and mothers when they are still children themselves.

Peace- what we're all passionate for with one another

But Malala, since she was 11, using the pen name, Gul Makai, which has a significant meaning, has written about what was happening to her and other girls around her being denied a right to an education because they are female.   Here she is called a 'champion for peace'.
Two other girls were also injured last week when Malala was targeted and attacked to be silenced because she continued to voice that she and other young girls wanted to keep attending school.

Here is a link to her writing, in her Diary of a Pakistani Schoolgirl, using her pen name back in 2009.

She is receiving medical care in the UK,  but lets say prayers for her full and complete recovery.

Malala Yousafzai has much more education to seek, and much more to offer the world. No matter what religion or gender, everyone deserves an education. Malala is an amazingly brave and courageous young woman, now admired more than ever the world over. We need more like her. Pray for her recovery and her work to continue.
